JD program

Veteran-to-veteran mentorship for getting into law school

Tell us about your background and goals. We pair you with an Ambassador, a veteran who has been through the JD admissions process at a school like the ones you are targeting, for free one-on-one mentorship.

How matching works

From the moment you submit, the pipeline runs on its own. Here is the whole loop, including the actual emails it sends.

1

You submit your application

Your service background, academics, target schools, and goals enter the matching pool the moment you finish the intake.

While you wait, join the community Discord

Fellow veteran applicants and mentors are there for peer support. You'll receive an email with the invite link once your application is approved.

2

Matching runs and the best-fit mentor is invited

Our matching engine scores every available mentor on service background, target schools, and region, and an AI layer ranks the strongest fits. The top mentor gets the email below. It describes you anonymously; your name and contact details stay private until they accept.

Example email your prospective mentor might receive

A monthly check-in, automatically

While you work together, a short check-in lands once a month until your cycle completes, so nothing stalls quietly.

Example email you might receive

Hi Jordan,

Just checking in: how is it going with your mentor? Have you been able to connect, and is there anything the S2S team can help with?

5

The end-of-cycle survey

When your cycle wraps, one short survey asks where you landed: decisions, acceptances, and the school you chose. That closes the loop.

We would love to hear where things stand with your applications: any decisions, acceptances, or a school you have decided to enroll at.
